Spotlight on Liliya Safronyuk – A Passionate and Visionary Leader That Elevates People and Business

Liliya Safronyuk emits magnetic energy. She is passionate about work and about life. When she speaks, she lights up, and you know this excitement is genuine.
Liliya Safronyuk is a Senior Vice President at LAN Global, a company headquartered in Las Vegas, Nevada. LAN Global is dedicated to simplifying it all for their clients, and it is truly a one-stop shop. Their range of services includes third-party logistics, enterprise mobility services, mobile device recycling, resale, and repair. They also specialize in asset recovery, repurposing mobile products, and data destruction.
The business has changed and evolved quite a bit since Liliya started at LAN Global fourteen years ago. When she first started, the company was focused on used devices, wholesale business, working with different countries, e-commerce. But then the economy started shifted and the business had to transition quickly to stay viable. So, they started offering lots of services.
Liliya Safronyuk has deep roots in the wireless and mobile devices market. Before starting at LAN Global, she owned a very successful business with her husband. Unfortunately, she had to leave her ex-husband and start over with two of her own children and two others in my care. And she had to start everything from scratch. Mind it, their business had been thriving, in the US alone they had over 80 employees, and hundreds globally. Liliya says, “I started working e-commerce from the bedroom of the new house with my kids and everything.” It was tough, but Liliya is resilient, and she was known for her expertise in the industry. So, companies started inviting her to work for them.
Liliya chose LAN Global because they gave her flexibility with her kids. In effect, Liliya has four children, two of her own, and her niece and nephew whom she raised like her own. Liliya says, “So it was 4 kids and just me looking after them, and LAN Global actually offered me flexibility. They said, you know what, take your time, whatever you need to do with your kids, drops off, pick up, you can even bring them to work. Go when you need as long you get in your job done, they trusted me because they knew me from before. So, and that's how I raised my kids. I was a present Mom, I could work 10, 12 hours a day, no issues. And I made sure to excel at work. When I needed to, I could go to the office, say, on a weekend to finish what I had to do. They gave me so much trust, and they believed in me, and that's why I think I'm staying with them and am so dedicated to LAN Global.
Driven to excel and make sure that LAN Global thrives, Liliya Safronyuk started looking into attaining certifications for the business. She took a very strategic approach, and now they have achieved most relevant certifications for LAN Global.
And now they are working on attaining ISO 27001 for the business. And when, we put it all our experience together, and we saw what's going on with our IT services.
Agility is the defining characteristic of both LAN Global and Liliya Safronyuk. Every time clients made certain requests, they looked to see how that could be done and achieved. This accelerated during COVID, and LAN Global started providing a variety of additional services. They do practically everything in-house. In essence, they are the back-end for their customers. For example, LAN Global works with manufacturers, some of them are not big manufacturers. And for one of the companies, they even fully set up their customer service, as well as their marketing.
LAN Global also does reverse logistics, forward logistics, they are handling 3PL, 4PL, whatever their customers need. They also offer repairs, they conduct testing, they provide training. Needless to say, this makes LAN Global very unique.
Many businesses choose to focus just on one area. LAN Global doesn’t do that because they are effective channeling the customer pain points. Lilya explains, “If customers are going to send the devices to flash to one facility, repair to another facility, then do grading testing in a third facility, kitting in a fourth facility, it becomes complicated. How much time and money are they going to lose.” Doing all these different things differentiates LAN Global and addressed customer pain points. It’s good business. LAN Global is truly a one-stop shop.
Lilya Safronyuk is very proud of the fact that LAN Global holds so many certifications. They have made sure that all employees understand the “why” behind all those certifications and act accordingly. Their 40,000 square foot facility with high ceilings is immaculately clean and well-maintained. Everything is organized for maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
LAN Global also acts fact. The reason they moved the business from LA to Las Vegas was because the latter is a three-shift city. This serves their customers well, as no ramp-up time is required. For example, right now, for one of their client companies, they have to assemble the devices from scratch. Lilya glows, “So, we can use the same equipment, but it's going to be three shifts, so they don't even have to spend money to buy triple the equipment.”
Liliya explains that certifications have led to LAN Global having a better environment, and they are a very worthwhile investment. Liliya explains, “We are handling everything from the business perspective. It has to be smart, right? And also, it's something that is going to bring faster cash flow to the customers that working with us. And they are assured that we are going to handle everything on the back end, so they can move forward faster. Practically, we're like partners with our clients, this means we are going to get more business from them, because wherever their customers, they will be satisfied, so will give us more business. And that's why we decided to practically handle everything for our customers.” LAN Global is handling the whole ecosystem. “I have to tell you, I'm in love with this business,” declares Liliya Safronyuk.
LAN Global’s client base is varied, it spans school districts, medical device provider, various manufacturers, and the list goes on. They have client companies from many countries, including in Eastern Europe and Western Europe.
Neither LAN Global nor Liliya Safronyuk are ever comfortable resting on their laurels. She is always looking ahead. Speaking of a technology the company uses and everyone loves, Liliya is thinking that it actually might be outdated, and with AI they can create something far better. Again, this is technology that everyone seems to love today.
In essence, it was this proactive looking ahead approach that got Liliya Safronyuk to seek certifications for LAN Global. Right now, they have R2, ISO 9001, 45001, 140001, we have right now all four. And they are about to earn ISO 27001 Certification.
“These certifications are foundational to business. They make LAN Global more functional and useful, especially from the employees’ perspective. Because if you think about it, employees are spending 8 hours at work, and you want them to be in an environment that attracts them. And if you think from business perspective, it helps with productivity as engaged employees are more productive.”
The certifications also help LAN Global win more quality contracts. As a result of these certifications, LAN Global has endeavored to build effective processes. Liliya says, “The certifications have helped LAN Global to organize the business, to organize employees even, because when you are training employees and you're saying, hey, this is the training, employees are taking this in one ear, and it goes out of the other ear. But when you are telling them that we always have to be audit-ready, and you have a huge part in this, they care, they pay attention. And then it becomes part of their DNA, their culture.” Liliya laments that many businesses do not realize how important certifications are to their business, how they can shape the company’s DNA. Liliya adds, “Because when people are working in a super clean and organized environment, they start enjoying what they are doing, and they love coming to work. They feel important, they feel like their work is important, they feel like the whole business depends on each employee. I have an employee who comes here, cleans. Every day, morning and after work, and she loves it because she knows how important her job is.”
Under Liliya's leadership, LAN Global has embraced innovation as a driving force for growth. The company has obtained multiple certifications, including now getting ISO 27001, to ensure high standards in operations. "For us, certifications were crucial for building a solid foundation," she explains, highlighting the importance of compliance and quality.
"AI and automation will be a big thing moving forward," she predicts, her excitement evident. "We must stay ahead of industry trends to provide the best service to our clients.”
Liliya always looks at businesses with a critical eye to figure out opportunities for growth. She says she often visits other companies’ manufacturing facilities, and can tell that they could easily have 3-4 times more output, if only they put the right processes in place.
Aside from processes, Liliya cares deeply about the people that work at LAN Global. When speaking about all the achievements at LAN Global, Liliya Safronyuk is emphatic about the importance of her team, “I’m surrounded by an incredible team of volunteers, employees, and loved ones, and it’s very important to me that they are acknowledged.
In my professional life, none of what we've achieved would be possible without the dedication, discipline, loyalty, support, and hard work of our employees. Their contributions are the foundation of everything we do.”
When she notices that an employee looks worried, she will drop everything and make sure to understand what’s going on, so that she can help. “I even feel people, I even see that someone goes through something, even the way they look at me when I'm saying hi. I will try to help them in that moment.” And this genuine caring creates loyalty among people. People remember being noticed. And that’s why the same people will go above and beyond.
Lilya shares, “So, when I go on the floor and I see something, and if I can help, because I have so many resources that I can help, like, if they're mom at the hospital, and they need to go home, or they're getting pregnant, or whatever, they don't have a husband, for example, everyone has a story, right? But I can help them at that moment. And they will feel like they are part of something, and they will feel safe here.”
Liliya Safronyuk has deep empathy because she herself has seen many losses. She shares, “I lost my mom when I was 4. I lost my dad when I was 20. I lost my brother when I was 27. And then she went through the challenges of a tough divorce. When it seemed that I had nothing, the only thing what I had was faith, that was a gift that my parents left me – faith. And I have a mission to help. So, I am proud to say that I know all the people’s stories here.”
Liliya Safronyuk brings her sense of mission and desire to help to her extracurricular activities as well. On Saturdays, she volunteers with Bread of Life, a food distribution organization that operates 14 locations and serves thousands of people around LA.
On Sundays, they run one of their Los Angeles locations at Awaken LA Church, where Liliya Safronyuk leads efforts with an amazing group of volunteers. In addition to food distribution, they also prepare and serve hot meals for 220-250 people each Sunday – these are two separate efforts running in parallel. This work is only possible because of the tremendous support of Awaken LA Church, who are truly the main reason they’re able to carry out this mission each week.
This volunteer work helps them with much more than the food. These families can then use their resources to send their children to activities, training. This food creates a foundation for a better society.
Liliya started volunteering with cooking during COVID, her children also fully participate, and it has continued ever since then. She noticed that people were becoming anti-social. To help address that, what better thing to do than help them break bread together. People ask her if doesn’t get tired doing all this work. The truth is that she is fully energized by all this.
This initiative to break bread together on Sundays helps address the chronic loneliness in our society. And people in LA – where Liliya lives – start feeling like they are part of a community.
When, prior to concluding the interview, we ask Liliya Safronyuk to share something about her personal passions, she says, “I love spending time with my kids whenever I have free time. They are my biggest supporters and cheerleaders, and they regularly volunteer alongside me. Their involvement means so much. Lastly – and most importantly – I want to express that God deserves all the credit. I truly believe He has guided me through every high and low, and that without His presence, none of this would be possible. I don't see myself as a hero – just someone blessed to walk this path with the support of faith, community, and family.”
After the interview, Liliya offers us to tour their Las Vegas facility. Indeed, it is immaculately clean and well-organized. And people are genuinely engaged.
